🎓 About the Scholarship

The Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (SVMCM) is a financial assistance program by the Government of West Bengal for meritorious students from economically backward families. It supports students from Class 11 to postgraduate level.

✅ Who Can Apply?

• Must be a resident of West Bengal.
• Must be studying in West Bengal institutions only.
• Minimum 60% marks in Madhyamik or Higher Secondary (HS) for HS/UG level.
• Minimum 53% in UG (for PG General) or 55% in UG (for PG Engineering).
• Annual family income must not exceed ₹2,50,000.

• Recent Passport Photo (Max 100KB)
• Signature Scan (Max 50KB)
• Marksheet of previous exam (Madhyamik / HS / UG / PG)
• Income Certificate (Issued by SDO/BDO/Pradhan)
• Admission Receipt
• Bank Passbook (1st Page)
• Aadhar Card
• Institution Verification Certificate (with stamp & signature)
