๐ What is Nabanna Scholarship?
The Nabanna Scholarship is provided by the Government of West Bengal to support financially weak students who have passed Madhyamik, Higher Secondary or are pursuing undergraduate/postgraduate studies in any recognized institution in West Bengal.

Updated Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Nabanna Scholarship, applicants must meet the following academic and financial requirements:
- Higher Secondary (Class 12): 50% or above, but less than 60% in Madhyamik (Class 10).
- Undergraduate: 50% or above, but less than 60% in Higher Secondary (Class 12).
- Postgraduate: 50% or above, but less than 53% in Undergraduate Degree.
- Family Income: Annual family income must be less than or equal to โน1,20,000.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- No Other Scholarship: Must not be receiving any other government or private scholarship/stipend for the same course.

- Application Form (Download from official website or collect from Nabanna office)
- Recommendation Letter from local MLA (mentioning amount)
- Income Certificate from DM/SDO/BDO (Not older than 6 months)
- Copy of the Marksheet (last passed exam)
- Admission Receipt of current course
- Bank Passbook (Xerox - 1st page)
- Aadhar Card (photocopy)
- Self-written application (To: The Hon'ble Chief Minister)
- Passport-size photograph (1 or 2 copies)
